Certification and Third Party Accreditation

We strive to be the very best at providing the most accurate K-9 bed bug inspections possible...You want only the best K-9/handler team possible doing your inspection...

  • Third party accreditation provides the public with unbiased confirmation that the team is capable of recognizing live bed bug odor at various levels of concentration, from 1 to 20 live bed bugs, at the source of the odor. The K-9 cannot alert on dead bed bugs, cast skins or fecal matter.
  • This testing also certifies that the K-9 handler can appropriately read his K-9 and can recognize the K-9's alert which indicates the presence of live bed bugs or their eggs.
  • Once certification is earned, the team must ensure this performance level is maintained. Daily maintenance training consists of searches containing live bed bugs, and distractions such as dead bed bugs keeps our K-9's at peak level performance.

We are proud to have earned DUAL CERTIFICATIONS, one from NESDCA (National Entomology Scent Detection Canine Association), and one from IBBMA (Integrated Bed Bug Management Association). NESDCA and IBBMA are both highly respected third party accreditation agencies. Both agencies utilize far stricter certification tests than required by NPMA (National Pest Management Association) guidelines, ensuring only the finest teams hold this accreditation.
